MMJ enable near-net-shape production of drills and cutters made of carbide, so that the amount of post-processing work can be significantly reduced. As an additional benefit, tool life can be increased through the realization of complex channel geometries for coolants and lubricants. Already today, with MMJ you can, for example, print on our prototyp milling cutters made of tungsten carbide (WC-Co) with cobalt contents starting as low as 6 percent. The results can compete with established manufacturing processes such as pressing.
